Free Simple Will for Healthcare Workers

Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP, a full-service law firm, is extending a special offer for a free simple will to area healthcare workers during the month of May, 2020.  In appreciation of all of the healthcare workers in hospitals and nursing homes who are risking their health during this COVID-19 pandemic, J&G is offering a free simple will to all healthcare workers who live or work in Orange or Sullivan Counties.

“We understand how important the healthcare community is and we are most grateful for everyone who continues to go to work during these difficult times to help keep us well and safe. They have a tremendous impact on our entire community,” said Michele L. Babcock, Managing Partner. “This is our way of helping the lives of those that risk their health every day during this Coronaviurs pandemic. ”

Many people are surprised to learn that New York probate court judges are under no legal obligation to assign assets to a surviving spouse in the event that the deceased left no will. Having a legal will in place is the only way to ensure that a person’s assets and final wishes will be granted upon their death.

Recently, the Governor issued an Executive Order allowing the execution of a will to be done remotely allowing people the safety and comfort of completing a will from their home.

Healthcare workers at hospitals and nursing homes who reside or work in Orange or Sullivan County  that are interested in having J&G prepare a simple will can contact us at (845)764-9656 or visit us at  www. jacobowitz.com.

Offer expires May 30, 2020.
