Jacobowitz & Gubits makes Donation to Conservatory of Fine Arts

Jacobowitz & Gubits, LLP has made a donation to The New Rose Theater in Walden's own Hudson Valley Conservatory of Fine Arts. The donation was made in support of a fundraiser that Mayor Brian Maher organized to benefit the Orange County United Way and the New Rose Theater.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to support this kind of fundraiser that Mayor Brian Maher developed for the Conservatory," said Howard Protter, Managing Attorney for Jacobowitz & Gubits. "We applaud the Mayor and his team for creating an opportunity for community-based firms like ours to make a supportive contribution to our local fine arts."

Walden Mayor Maher added, "Partnerships between our businesses, government, and civic organizations are invaluable to any community that believes in smart growth. I would like to thank Jacobowitz & Gubits and all of our sponsor's for stepping up to the plate as we continue to show why Walden is a beautiful place to live and work."

According to Mayor Maher, the fundraiser netted a total of $1,690 which was split evenly between the Conservatory and the Orange County United Way.
