Howard Protter Guest Speaker at the Appellate Division's Orientation to the Profession Program

Howard Protter, Managing Partner of Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP was the guest speaker at the Appellate Division's Orientation to the Profession program on Thursday February 11, 2010 at the Judicial Institute in White Plains. All applicants seeking admission to practice law in the Second Department are required to complete the Orientation Program. The three-hour class encompasses a range of ethical pitfalls confronting the newly admitted lawyer. Howard addressed the issue of Civility & Professionalism. The thrust of his presentation was to aspire the applicants to practice their profession with a spirit of civility and professionalism such that they become vigorous advocates, but trustworthy colleagues, in both litigated and non-litigated matters.
