Mr. Nichol is a partner on the Municipal Law Team and has been the Attorney for the Town of Crawford since 1985, the Village of Kiryas Joel since 1990, the Village of Maybrook since 1982, and the Town of Warwick since January 2000. His primary practice has been devoted to municipal law and environmental/land use issues since 1982 in various types of local government, public works, construction and development matters.
Don is a member of the Ninth Judicial District Compulsory Arbitration Panel, 1983-present; State and Local Government Program, 1980-1981; Deputy Village Attorney, Montgomery 1985-1990; Orange County and New York State Bar Associations and the Water Environmental Federation.
Don is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1981 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1982, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York.
