Alyse D. Terhune is an attorney with the firm's municipal team, focusing on environmental and land use law.
She received her Juris Doctor degree from Pace University's School of Law, with a Certificate of Environmental Law.
Alyse was elected to the Town Board of the Town of Tuxedo for three consecutive terms, and was appointed Deputy Supervisor during each term. She resigned her position on the Town Board after nearly 11 years of service when she accepted a position at Jacobowitz & Gubits. The firm represents the Town Board in all municipal, land use, and environmental matters.
Alyse is a published author. Her book, advising Chief Operating Officers on how best to use the Internet to streamline business transactions, was published in December 2000 by John Wiley & Sons.
Alyse managed the electronic commerce research team for Gartner Group, the world's largest Information Technology research and advisory company. She was considered an expert in business-to-business electronic commerce and advised Global 2000 companies, as well as branches of the Federal Government such as the Department of Defense, on the potential impact of the Internet on their information technology and communications infrastructure.
Alyse grew up in Indiana but currently resides in Tuxedo, NY.
